Fees

SEDA College NT is a non-government independent secondary college and a registered not-for-profit organisation. Therefore, the College has annual fees payable for each student enrolment.

The total fee for a student to attend the college for the 2026 academic year is $3,800.00^.

Enrolment Fee Deposit

Amount: $750.00

    A non-refundable Enrolment Fee Deposit is collected to secure a student’s position at the College each year. The enrolment fee deposit contributes to the Resource Fee charged for the academic year.

    Tuition Fee

    Amount: $2,670.00

      Tuition Fees cover all services in relation to teaching and learning, such as:

      • The Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET)
      • VET (Vocational Education and Training) training services
      • First Aid/CPR training services
      • Specialist coaching/umpiring courses
      • Wellbeing, leadership, careers, education, and cultural support services

      Eligible students can utilise their Back to School Payment Scheme grant to assist with paying their tuition fees.

      Activity Fee

      Amount: $380.00

        The activity fee covers all compulsory class activities, excursions, incursions, tours, and self-nominated interschool sports activities.

        Resource Fee

        Amount: $750.00*

        The Resource fee covers:

        • Annual uniform allocation
        • Lease of a student laptop and charger
        • Information technology software
        • Student online learning system – MySEDA

        *The non-refundable Enrolment Fee Deposit of $750.00 contributes to this fee.

          Student Experience Fee

          To ensure an equitable system the College charges fees separately for Non-Compulsory Student Experiences such as overnight, interstate and overseas camps, excursions, SEDA Cup, and tours.

          ^ The fee is the predicted full tuition, resource, and activity fee per student enrolment. This is subject to change and will be confirmed and communicated in September 2025.           Scholarships

          SEDA College NT is committed to supporting students and families through a range of opportunities that recognise excellence and provide financial assistance. Our Scholarship Program celebrates achievement and contribution across key areas of College life, while Fee Assistance (Bursaries) are available to families experiencing genuine financial hardship.           Payment Options

          Enrolment Fee Deposit Payment

          The Enrolment Fee Deposit can be paid in full or by two instalment payments. Where an offer is being accepted after October, alternative due dates will be provided.

          Tuition, Activity and Resource Fee Payment

          The Tuition, Activity and Resource Fees can be paid by the following methods:

          • Upfront full payment
          • Direct debit payment plan through weekly, fortnightly, or monthly instalments
          Split Fees

          The College understands that school fees often are required to be split between two account holders. Due to this, the College offers the option to split student fees equally between both account holders.

          Third-Party Student Fees Payment

          Most student fees can be paid by a third-party where an agreement is in place, however, caregivers will remain liable to pay fees if the third-party fails to make payments.

          ABSTUDY – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Financial Support

          Depending on a student’s circumstances, ABSTUDY can help with:

          • school fees
          • boarding fees
          • living costs
          • travel costs
          • buying school materials.

          Back to School Payment Scheme

          Students enrolled with the College in Year 10, 11 and 12 commencing in Term 1^ may be eligible for the Back to School Payment Scheme (commonly referred to as the Back to School Voucher) from the Northern Territory (NT) Government. Students are entitled to receive a grant that can be used for educational goods and services.

          College Fee Assistance

          The College may offer fee assistance (bursaries) to families experiencing severe short-term financial difficulties. Due to limited funds being available, not all debtor account holders who apply for fee assistance will be successful.

          College Fee Account Holders with a genuine need who would like to be considered for fee assistance should complete a Fee Assistance Application Form, which can be requested by emailing: finance@sedacollege.nt.edu.au

          College Fee Account Holders may be asked to attend an interview to discuss their application.

          Family Tax Benefit

          A two-part payment that helps with the cost of raising children. To get this you must:

          • have a dependent child or full-time secondary student aged 16 to 19 who isn’t getting a pension, payment, or benefit like Youth Allowance
          • care for the child for at least 35% of the time
          • meet an income test.

          Veterans’ Children Education Scheme

          The Australian Government of Veterans’ Affairs provides Education Schemes for financial assistance, special assistance, student support services and arrange for guidance and counselling for eligible children to help them achieve their full potential in full-time education or career training.

            Youth Allowance

            Financial help if you’re 24 or younger and a student or Australian Apprentice.

            To get this you must be one of the following:

            • 18 to 24 and studying full time
            • 16 to 17, studying full time and either independent or needing to live away from home to study
            • 16 to 17, studying full time and have completed year 12 or equivalent
            • 16 to 24 and doing a full time Australian Apprenticeship.
